27 Jul SIGNS TO TAKE NOTE OF SAYS JESUS (Luke 21:5-28)
1. A Prophecy Fulfilled (v5-24)
The Temple will be destroyed
You will be persecuted
Jerusalem will be flattened
If God says it’s going to happen then you can be certain that it will happen.
2. A Prophecy Still To Come (v25-27)
The Son of Man is coming back!
Matthew 24:36
“but concerning that day and hour no-one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.”
3. Be Ready (v28)
Jonathan Edwards – Resolution 19:
“Resolved never to do anything, which I should be afraid to do, if I expected it would not be above an hour, before I should hear the last trumpet”
