STRENGTH (Eph 6:10) a. Personal v10: His strength (“in the Lord”; “His might”). Described in 1:19,20 b. Purposeful v11: To enable us to stand. Note the command! “Put on…” 2. STRUGGLE (Eph 6:12) a. Picture: “wrestle”: personal, intimate, protracted. b. Powers: an impressive array. But: “this present darkness” – limited (cf 1 Pet 2:9) He is above them 1:21 3. STAND (Eph 6:13) a. In the crisis: the evil day – and what did they do? b. At the climax: last ‘Christian’ standing Standing in His strength, relying on Him and His resources is what His people have ever done.
