1) PRAY/COME TO GOD

Therefore… Pray (v6)
-
Face up to guilt (v5)
-
Confess your sin
-
Find forgiveness from God
-
Live free from guilt
-
Live in deep set joy and relationship with God (v1-2)
-
…all done through prayer/coming to God (v6)
2) DON’T BE A MULE!
-
Don’t be stubborn like the horse or the mule (v9)
-
God, in His grace may curb you ‘with bit and bridle’ to bring you back to Himself. (v9/v4)
-
Or, it may one day be too late to come back to Him.
-
God is not casual about sin.
-
You were redeemed to live a transformed life as a new creation!
-
Sin is not worth persisting in; it leads only to sorrow (v10)
-
Come back to God instead, find in Him peace, purpose and promise (v6)
3) REJOICE!

In grace and forgiveness we have something to sing about:

Promises of God in Psalm 32:

Satisfaction, joy and blessing (v1-2)
-
Forgiveness and freedom from sin (v5)
-
Access and conversation with God (v6)
-
Protection and security (v6-7)
-
Peace and comfort (v7)
-
Instruction and guidance (v8)
-
Unfailing and steadfast love all around (v10)

A reason to sing and rejoice (v11)
-
All ours in Christ. Wow.
